Yup, it works as you said. I live plop! in the center of mosquito land, deep in a rainforest on Maui. I just sprayed myself and went out to hang clothes on the line to dry...in my swimsuit!

This repellent smells better than the other natural repellents I’ve used with a hint of vanilla. You will have better protection if you spray it in your hands and rub it on your skin and clothes versus just spraying it. Re-apply every 2-3 hours if your outside and or if your sweating! If you don’t - you’ll get bit! I gave it a 4 because I wish it wasn’t so strong. I don’t mind the smell so much but my kids aren’t keen to it. I would also like the bottle to be a bit bigger. I would love it if you came up with an essential out of that solution, so I could put it in my aroma humidifier to keep the mosquitos from coming in my home or in a candle.

Because of seasonal weather changes I've had only one chance to try the Kite Shield product. I got a mosquito bite within the first five minutes of applying it but no more in the next few hours of constant outside exposure. If after the current dip in temps and constant rain we still have the monsters around I'll sure give it another try. The aroma of it is very pleasant and lasts a long time.

We spray Kite around the inside of the door jam. And when we open and hold the door open to feed our animals the mosquitoes and other flying critters don't come in. It also makes the flies on the face of the deer leave.

I am a skeptic of anything essential oils but this product may have changed my mind at least when I comes to keeping mosquitoes at bay. Did the trip just as good as any product with deet and smells a lot better

I ALWAYS get bitten, mosquitoes adore me! I always dread summer because I know I’m going to get bitten and the bites always swell up so badly! I have little kids who love to swim in the lake and explore the woods and so I can’t stay indoors all summer! I was skeptical at first but I used this last weekend in Memphis and we were swimming and I could hear the high pitched buzzing of the mosquitoes and my husband got lots of bites but I didn’t get ANY! I reapplied twice in about 5 hours and I didn’t get one single bite!!! I can’t believe it! It’s amazing stuff and I’m getting ready to stock up!

Kite is just perfect. It has a pleasant scent (but not overwhelming) and it smooths on easily without being greasy. I haven't been bitten by a mosquito since I've been using it.

I was being eaten alive by mosquitos when I gardened, but I didn't want to put dangerous chemicals on my skin (and into my blood stream!) I tried Avon's Skin So Soft, but it was useless and the smell was obnoxious. Other natural products did work either, so I was dubious about Kite. But WOW, it works like a charm! Mosquitos will fly in and immediately change direction. No bites since I've used it. Plus, it smells great! I absolutely love, love, love Kite.

Your product has done a good job of repelling annoying mosquitoes. The very wet climate has made them beyond menacing. So far I have limited exposure but will keep you informed and share with my friends to try.

Have to apply it more often than the chemical spray. But I would rather apply natural ingredients than chemicals to my body. And it smells good. Love it.

This is a great product for avoid mosquitoes, very effective...My kids always want to use it and it smell goods, a bit of a strong peppermint smell, but does the job.

Went to central america. lots of mosquitos. worked great, i wish it would last longer. use it at night, also sprayed it around the room an on my bed and it actually worked. citrus smell is strong but pleasant . best of all NO DEET. most everything out there has deet in it. when you spray it the bottle crumbles down. need better aspiration on trigger knob.
